Silent Devotion

I came upon a quiet place, where stillness showed me strength. I sat and watched in silence, as I took my deepest breath. I felt my essence calm, and settle, as I had just remembered. I'd forgotten how the quiet spoke, to me while I had ventured. It spoke to me in whispers, so soft and oh so gentle. It sang its song and wrapped itself into my deepest central. There is a place within you that is innocent and pure. Just keep that close inside your heart, when you cannot endure.
